Carina Losano and Pablo Fontana are instructors, performers, and
choreographers of Argentine Tango. They have had extensive dance training and
have worked in television and film. They have been the recipient of the most
prestigious awards in Buenos Aires including: Sponsorship by the Secretary of Culture,
Buenos Aires, Argentina (1999); “Golden Obelisco”, by Carlos Mattera Producciones (1998-1999);
“Hugo del Carril”, Championship (1997); and “Pa’que bailen los muchachos” (1996-1997).
Carina and Pablo have had dance and choreography training with Juan Carlos Copes,
Eduardo Arquimbau, Pepito Avellaneda, Gustavo Naveira, Fabian Salas, Guillermo Quiroga
and Roberto Reis, Vanina Vilous, Roberto Herrera among many others. They learned Tango
Salon dancing with the Milongueros from The Golden Age of Tango. They also studied
Tango History and Music in the Tango University, Buenos Aires, 1993-1999.
