Imani Productions is a volunteer student organization at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. Our benefit fashion show is a seventeen-year old tradition that serves the Stanford and neighboring communities. The proceeds of past shows have been donated to groups such as the first graduating class of Eastside High School in East Palo Alto, CA, and The Support Network for Battered Women. This year's proceeds will be donated to the Child Abuse Prevention Center (CAPC) in Redwood City, CA.

The Imani Fashion Show allows designers to have direct exposure to a college-age audience. We want to do our part in helping to promote a fashion context within the college age group that expresses sophistication and urban style with an edgy universal appeal. On a broader level, we hope that our contribution will help expand the market for the designers' talents, as well as aid in encouraging prospective entrepreneurs to follow in the footsteps of the designers sponsoring the Imani Show.

DATE & TIME: Sunday, May 19th, doors open at 6pm, show starts at 6:30pm.

FEATURED DESIGNERS: Linda Ayre, Janessa Chulong, James Head, DaDa Footwear, Ruff Ryders, Oxford Street Designs, among others.

ADMISSION: $5 donation - all proceeds will be donated to the CAPC.

LOCATION: Lagunita Courtyard, Stanford University.

DIRECTIONS FROM 101: Exit on Embarcadero West/Stanford University and stay on Embarcadero. After crossing El Camino, Embarcadero turns in Galvez. Stay on Galvez. At the first stop sign, make a left onto Campus Drive. Go thru six stop signs. At the seventh, make a right onto Mayfield Ave. Follow Mayfield until you're at an intersection where you can only go left or right (past the big parking lot on your right). Make a right onto Lomita, and at the next stop sign, make a left onto Santa Teresa Street. Go thru the first stop sign, and Lagunita Court will be on your left. Parking is available in lots on either side of Lagunita or on the street.

DIRECTIONS FROM 280: Exit Page Mill/Stanford University and follow signs towards Stanford. Turn left on Junipero Serra. Go through two traffic lights, then make a right onto Campus Drive West. At first stop sign, make a right onto Santa Teresa Street. Go about 1/2 mile, and Lagunita Courtyard will be on your right.

PARKING: Available in lots on either side of Lagunita or on the street.
