Daniel Lapadula, originally from Argentina, is a professional performer, teacher,
organizer and choreographer now residing in Miami. He has performed across
the United States and the Caribbean to critical acclaim and, most recently,
in the movie "Random Hearts" starring Harrison Ford. Daniel has a
background in jazz and ballet dancing and has been dancing tango
professionally since 1977 on TV and nightclubs with masters, including Juan
Carlos Copes and Eduardo & Gloria. Daniel was the choreographer and director of Tango Revue from 1986 to 1996 and selected as the first dancer of the Libertad Lamarque Company in 1991. He created "Tango Tango" and choreographed "Buenos Aires in Ann Arbor" for the Detroit tango club. Daniel is currently working on a new show, "Tangosoul", which is being produced by Oscar Dipaola. He has also been very successful recently in developing the popular Tango Rueda, which is salon tango by a group of 4 or more couples in a circle changing partners.

Daniel created “Tango Tango” and choreographed “Buenos Aires
in Ann Arbor”. He has been very successful in developing Club Style tango
which encompasses, among other movements: basic syncopations; technique of
embrace; developing a cadence in the walk by unequal steps; and increasing
speed generating a better rotation in the upper body for giros. This is just
some of the material Daniel will be covering in his classes and workshops;
all material is intermediate to advanced. He is one of the first to have
instructional DVDs as well as videos, which are Excellent! He’s also done
an instructional series for Solo Tango TV in Buenos Aires which is currently
running. Daniel’s style, both teaching and performing, material and personality
