Daniela Arcuri

At thirteen, Daniela started ballet, modern dance and gymnastics in Buenos Aires and graduated from The Escuela Nacional de Danzas where she studied music, Jazz, Argentian Folk dancing, and acting. At the age of fifteen she began her choreography and teaching career. Her style was influenced by the Milongueros ("old Tango style") and by her training in gymnastics and dance.

Daniela and Armando Orzuza met early in Daniela's career. They are one of the leading dance couples in Tango. In addition to having choreographed in and performed in many Tango shows and films such as: "A Rose for Mr. Tango" with Juan Carlos Copes and Maria Nieves, "El Acompanamiento", "Tango Passion" on Broadway, and in Alan Parker's "Evita", Daniela has starred in an international commercial featuring Tango for IBM.

Daniela Arcuri was a co-founder of The Tango Dance Company of Hollywood were she co-created, starred in, staged and directed the show "Tangoing." Daniela is currently a director of the International Tango School in Buenos Aries for foreigners wanting to learn and study Argentine Tango.


Armando Orzuza

Armando was born in the birth place of Tango, La Boca, a suburb of Buenos Aires. He worked for a Tangueria (Tango dance hall) as a sound technician in Buenos Aires as a teenager. For the next ten years he was surrounded by the world of Tango, its formost dancers, orchestras, and singers. He studied dance with Antonio Todaro, Pepito Avellaneda, Rodolfo Dinzel, and Eduardo Arquimbau, some of the best teachers and dancers from the Buenos Aires Tango scene.

In 1990 Armando started his professional career by traveling around the world, with Daniela Arcuri, performing and teaching. On Broadway in 1993 they starred in the cast of "Tango Passion". In Europe, Asia and the U.S., Armando together with Daniela produced several successful shows such as "Buenos Aires Tango" in 1991 in Denmark and Sweden, "Tango Nights" in 1993 in Miami, "Tango! The Show" in 1994 in Florida and Buenos Aires, and "Tango Puro" in 1997 in Japan.

Armando was a co-founder of Tango Dance Company of Hollywood and he co-created, staged, directed, and starred in the show "Tangoing" that recently closed in San Francisco, California. Armando is currently a director of the International Tango School in Buenos Aries for foreigners wanting to learn and study Argentine Tango.
